Sentinel Pro Washing Instructions

Thank you for choosing our Sentinel Pro clothing. With proper care, your suit will provide many years of reliable use. Please follow the guidance below.

Before Washing

Unzip the hat or veil and detach it from the suit or jacket. Take care during removal to avoid damage to the zips or Velcro.

Hat

  • Hand wash only using a mild detergent.
  • Do not machine wash.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Allow to dry naturally.

Veil

  • Hand washing in a mild detergent is recommended.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Allow to dry naturally.
  • Machine washing is possible only occasionally, and only if the veil is placed inside the sleeve of the suit.
  • Wash on a cool cycle (30–40°C).
  • Hand washing remains the preferred method to extend the life of the veil.

Suit/Jacket

  • The suit can be machine washed.
  • Check all pockets are empty before washing.
  • Use a cool wash (30–40°C).
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Dry naturally.

Important Note

The suit is made from a blend of cotton and polyester. Over‑washing may cause unnecessary wear due to the chemicals found in detergents. Wash only as needed to maintain the longevity of the fabric.

End-of-Season Care

Once your beekeeping season is finished, wash and dry the suit thoroughly and store it in a dry place.
Avoid leaving the suit in damp conditions, as this can lead to “spot mould,” which is difficult to remove.
