Top Tip — Liquid Feeding Seal
When feeding syrup, fit the silicone bung into the feeder hole, smear a little petroleum jelly around its perimeter, then GENTLY TWIST it firmly into position. This creates a tight seal and prevents syrup leaking into the brood box. You could also lightly sand around the hole to remove production mold marks to get an extra tight seal.
